Marga Group has established the reputation of being a top developer of luxury real estate in Southeast Asia. Winning in all categories entered, Marga Landmark and its flagship project, The Central, made a clean sweep of the Myanmar Property Awards 2017. The Central received the most awards – winning Best Condo Development, Best Retail Development, Best Mixed Use Development, Best Universal Design Development, Best Developer as well as Special Recognition in Corporate Social Responsibility. This award-winning success has only continued: In 2019 The Central won 2 additional awards at the Myanmar National Real Estate Awards, and in 2020 The Central became recognized among the very best mixed-use developments in Asia Pacific with 4 more awards at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2020.

Phase 1 of our flagship project comprising of nearly 300 units were completely reserved within a week. These units have been built to the highest standard, handed over to our customers, and now occupied by high quality tenants. We have introduced many new standards into the market and built a state-of-the-art luxury showroom that still stands as the market leader today.

Firmwide Culture of Social Responsibility

We have established a firm-wide culture of social responsibility.

Marga is an active member of United Nations Global Compact since 2015. We follow and implement the UN Global Compact Ten Principles and submit annual reports on our progress. www.unglobalcompact.org

We have the most comprehensive corporate social responsibility program in town. Our program benefits the lives and addresses the needs of different groups and communities ranging from disaster victims, orphans, the elderly to young musicians and professionals. We have created four initiatives: Marga Community Care which advocates responsive, direct and continuous actions to relieve and assist in the needs of deprived communities and Buddhist establishments; Marga Youth Foundation which sets out to nurture and empower young people in their pursuit of excellence in academics and professional development; Marga Clean Water Initiative which provides clean water access to schools and communities in need; and Marga SME Initiative which brings up the living standards of communities by mobilizing, motivating and maintaining continuous actions of love and care, and by nurturing the young entrepreneurs. In the past few years, more than 200 Marga employees, family and friends came together to care, to give, to share and to make a difference in the communities where we work and live.
